This holiday season i have turned one area of our home into a Christmas
reading room. This is the perfect place for all my romantic ornaments. Our tree is up and soon i will be posting about it. I have placed a photo of it on my sidebar.
As you all know from my previous post this tree's theme is country with coloured lights.
Yes...my child won hands down. He is too cute to refuse. But i have to
say i am extremely pleased with the results. Even though at the time i really wanted my
Victorian tree with all my hand blown German and Polish ornaments on it.
Your room is beautiful. How sweet to have a place filled with all of your tresors! I wish you many happy hours in here reading, writing Christmas cards or just litening to music. It sounds magical!

Pamela, I love that room. So nice and cozy and you can enjoy your things in there. I am sure your son is happy to have a tree the way he wanted it.
ReplyDeleteI think it's great that you can have "your" tree also. I love the kitty ornament.
ReplyDeletePamela- It's lovely. Warm and comforting and you know I am loving the toille on your chairs. I think the most important people to please at Christmas is our family...and if colored lights and all kinds of decorations make your little guy happy- go for it! Before you can blink an eye he will be grown and worrying about things besides Christmas trees,(or old enough that it doesn't matter anymore). Enjoy those blessed childhood years while you can! Hugs-Diana
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to have a room just for you to read and be cozy and to enjoy all your pretty things. Busy moms and wives need that place. The red toile chairs are just so perfect.
ReplyDeleteOh dear friend....that room is so lovely....I just love a rich RED at Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you.

ReplyDeleteI just found your post today...I haven't really been on here lately. Love the room.
The last couple of weeks have been very busy for me and I am trying to squeeze decorating in when I can.
I am glad you made this room your red christmas room because as you know it is the room I love the most.
Just think, it is the last thing you see as you go to bed at night and the first thing you see when you come down in the morning. What a great way to begin and end a day!
I can tell Pamela that this is your favourite time of year. You bring out the beauty of Christmas!xo
