A snowy day in the Valley

A snowy day in the Cowichan Valley....

Some photos around the yard for you to enjoy!

The snow only lasts a day and then the rain comes and washes it away...

My little studio looks so pretty dressed with snow... i am planning a romantic barn
sale this summer!!
I love this view to Sam's tree fort...

Life of spring not far away evident by this tiny fir twig sprouting...

The snow was lovely but now i am ready for spring
and to start planning my little sale...wishing you all can make it!

  1. I would love to come to your barn sale. Your barn looks very quaint. What will you be selling? Yes, you will be having spring before we do. I'm sorry I live on the other side of the country :-( Blessings, Pamela

  3. Hi Pam - I'll look forward to the snow melting with you - except ours will be around til May. Have you heard of the "Save Mary Lake" Campaign? It's not far from you as the crow flies. I posted about it yesterday.

  5. Pamela dear, what a delightful idea, a barn sale on a sunny and warm Summer's day...............I'd love to be there with you enjoying the time with your friends and neighbors who are fortunate enough to be close by. Tell me where you are exactly on the island...........you know I love BC and there are planes flying northwesterly every day. Wish I could, perhaps I can.........!!!!!!!!!!

Great pics from your garden - snow always makes everything perfect and covers up the sad bits of Winter. Yesterday was much warmer here and I was able to spend some time adding Spring touches to my booth at SuzAnna's Antiques...............there's no heat (other than in the office there) so it's sometimes hard to spend long primping and fluffing the booth with frozen fingers!!!

    Hugs - Mary

  7. Oh, Pam! I just love the main photo on your page. Ah, the sleeping porch. Absolutely dreamy. And I love the vignette in front of the window with the new lamp and the antique ironing board. Divine!!! The photos around your yard are beautiful and the photos of Niagara Falls. Well, there is no place like home, right Pam? You are keeping me inspired girlfriend.
