Hello Everyone! Today I am being featured at Kim's blog Savvy Southern Style!
For those of you just visiting for the first time I thought I'd share some highlights
of my home...
retreat for me...
Yes it has a skeleton key to open and close it! Hope no one ever misplaces it...we
will be in big trouble then.
They open out and have no screens. Thank goodness there are not alot of bugs
in the summer...like back home in Ontario.
I love antique mirrors and have collected a few...
This is my romantic sleeping porch off the master bedroom... notice the window
how it opens out...
Please visit Kim today at Savvy Southern Style ! Thank you so much Kim for
featuring me on your gorgeous blog!
And thanks to all of you for visiting me...
Pamela xo

ReplyDeleteIt's hard not to be smug when we're enjoying such a balmy winter and all our friends, east and south, are having such a hard time of it!
Your home is lovely - real Cowichan Valley style, the sort I've often admired.
As soon as The Great Dane is well, we're heading past you and up to The Crow and Gate for a good pub lunch - and a visit to Cow Bay as well.
I was sent over here from Saavy Southern Style, and I'm so glad I did. Your home is beautiful, and your photos are amazing. I love that you sent some "green"in one of your posts. Plus, anyone who is an animal lover is alright with me, animal lovers are the best people. That little lacy slip-covered chair is precious, and i Love old homes and old windows...I can't wait to dig around in your blog some more...

What a lovely home you have! I love older homes as they have so much more character than the new ones. Your photos are wonderful!
My middle son and his wife lived on VI for a year but we never got out to visit them while they were there. They are now in Vancouver once again. I have another son attending U of T.
