Our Christmas tree

Our tree has been up for a few weeks now. The blast of snow in late November put
me in the Christmas mood. The theme for this years tree is country with coloured
lights. Yes Sam won hands down. How could i refuse him...childhood is fleeting
and children are what make Christmas magical.

I am so happy with the results. The family has said this is my best tree yet.
Since we are living in the country this years theme really suits it.
An up close shot of a few ornaments. I love my deer...there are sooo many deer on
the property ...this was perfectly fitting.

More up close photos of the tree to come!
Hope you come back for more Christmas spirit!

  3. That is the perfect spot for a tree. I really like that netting ribbon stuff you have. I kept lookiing at that at Hobby Lobby and didn't end up buying it. Looks very pretty.

  4. That tree looks great, Pamela. My husband loves colored lights, but I still have white. Glad you let your son have his colored lights.

  5. tree looks very cozy Pam! Every year I'm torn between the cozy nostalgia of coloured lights, or the ethereal look of white....

  6. I love your tree Pamela! I'm always torn between white, or colored lights, and I know my love of the colored lights are coming from my childhood. Our tree already has the white lights on it, so I pretty much stick with that. Love the deer and the country theme too...it fits the beautiful area where you live. Maybe I should just decorate a tumbleweed. (oops, sorry for the sarcasm.) LOL

  8. You have a beautiful tree and I love how it fits so perfectly in that spot. How sweet of you to let Sam have his colored lights. I like white but I am a bit of a traditionalist and we have always had colored.

I'm looking forward to seeing more! :-)

    Jane
