Hello Sunday!

Happy Sunday to all of you!

Today is the last Sunday of August and i have to work. I have worked every single Sunday
this summer. I really dislike having to work this day. There is something about working on
a Sunday that i find disturbing. I know so many of us have to do it but it would be nice to have the odd one off once in awhile. To me i like to be with my family. I hate leaving my son
for the day . There are so many things going on right now that i would love to take him to.

But do you know what really drives me crazy on a beautiful, sunny Sunday when i am
rushing around to get ready to go to work?!!
Having to constantly step over this
big lump..........

Our relaxing, lazy, grumpy but oh so funny Acoya..

I swear he does this on purpose... rub it in Acoya ...rub it in!
He is getting so old his wiskers have turned white.

Wishing you all a blessed fun Sunday!
Pamela xo

  1. Hello Pamela!!!
I am sorry that you have to work today. I love this post about stepping over Acoya. I have to leap over Gousse all of the time. Acoya and Gousse sense that we are going to leave them...(perhaps if we are injured we won't be able to go to work ~ ha HA!) I am old enough to remember the good old days when everything was closed on Sunday, however my mom and dad had to work Sunday's and holidays because they were a policeman and a nurse! Take care!

  8. Acoya looks so cute laying there waiting for your to rub his tummy. Sorry about you having to work on Sundays. Maybe in the fall and winter when it's cold and wet and windy they will let you have a Sunday off.

  10. Haha ~ kitties always lay in the most inconvenient place. Mine is usually sitting right at the top of the stairs. Crazy cats!

I am sorry you had to work every Sunday. Not fun at all. Goodness... where is that winning lotto ticket when a person needs it??!!?

    Have a good week Pamela!

  11. That's funny about your kitty, does he smack you whenever you walk by him too?

and, i can totally relate to the frustration of having to work so much that you don't have time to do the things you love... sigh

  16. It would be nice if Sunday was set aside as the one day of the week that was "Family Day". And no one that had children at home was allowed to work, unless they asked to. Wouldn't that be wonderful!?
Your old kitty is pretty cute, I love his white whiskers.
I hope today was a wonderful day and tomorrow is even better.
    Hugs, Cindy

  18. I hated working on Sundays as well. They should be quiet peaceful days for introspection.
