Hello Sunday!

Happy Sunday to all of you!

Today is the last Sunday of August and i have to work. I have worked every single Sunday
this summer. I really dislike having to work this day. There is something about working on
a Sunday that i find disturbing. I know so many of us have to do it but it would be nice to have the odd one off once in awhile. To me i like to be with my family. I hate leaving my son
for the day . There are so many things going on right now that i would love to take him to.

But do you know what really drives me crazy on a beautiful, sunny Sunday when i am
rushing around to get ready to go to work?!!
Having to constantly step over this
big lump..........

Our relaxing, lazy, grumpy but oh so funny Acoya..

I swear he does this on purpose... rub it in Acoya ...rub it in!
He is getting so old his wiskers have turned white.

Wishing you all a blessed fun Sunday!
Pamela xo

  1. Hello Pamela!!!
I am sorry that you have to work today. I love this post about stepping over Acoya. I have to leap over Gousse all of the time. Acoya and Gousse sense that we are going to leave them...(perhaps if we are injured we won't be able to go to work ~ ha HA!) I am old enough to remember the good old days when everything was closed on Sunday, however my mom and dad had to work Sunday's and holidays because they were a policeman and a nurse! Take care!

  2. Hi Pamela, so sorry that your having to work on Sunday. I do know how that feels, I use to have a job where I didn't get weekends off but every 6 mos. and I hated it! Hope your work day passes by very fast so you can go home to your family. On another note Acoya really does look relaxed!
    hugs~~~ Daphne

  3. Since you have to work on Sunday, I know you will make the best of it! And may your next day off be absolutely GLORIOUS!!

  4. Aw Acoya dosent want you to go to work either! He is so cute! I hope your work day goes by quickly and you can get home to enjoy some time with your family.

  5. What a perfect little angel! Give him a snuggle for me!
Enjoy your time with your beloved famuly!

  6. Sorry you have to work today Pamela, but your Acoya is a cutie!! Martina

  7. I really feel for you- Sunday is always such a family day! Hang in there! x Sharon PS Acoya is gorgeous.

  8. Acoya looks so cute laying there waiting for your to rub his tummy. Sorry about you having to work on Sundays. Maybe in the fall and winter when it's cold and wet and windy they will let you have a Sunday off.

  9. Hello Pamela ! Your cat is so cute, lovely :)
Very nice blog, if you want we could follow each other, let me know if you follow my blog and I will surely follow back ! Kises from Italy

  10. Haha ~ kitties always lay in the most inconvenient place. Mine is usually sitting right at the top of the stairs. Crazy cats!

I am sorry you had to work every Sunday. Not fun at all. Goodness... where is that winning lotto ticket when a person needs it??!!?

    Have a good week Pamela!
    xo Catherine

  11. That's funny about your kitty, does he smack you whenever you walk by him too?

and, i can totally relate to the frustration of having to work so much that you don't have time to do the things you love... sigh

  12. I have a short haired all black kitty, Meeps. She loves to snuggle amongst the white matelassé pillow sham on my bed! I just let her! HA

  13. Now that you've been there a while could you ask for maybe every other Sunday off? Doesn't seem fair that you have to work them all...hang in there girlfriend!

  14. There should be a law against working on Sunday !

I can almost feel how soft Acoya is ... lovely puss... besos !

  15. Oh but hes so adorkable you cant stay mad at that at all! Just so cuuute! I guess his age gives him special privileges! Too bad you have to work on a Sunday, I feel for ya!

  16. It would be nice if Sunday was set aside as the one day of the week that was "Family Day". And no one that had children at home was allowed to work, unless they asked to. Wouldn't that be wonderful!?
Your old kitty is pretty cute, I love his white whiskers.
I hope today was a wonderful day and tomorrow is even better.
    Hugs, Cindy

  17. I just wanted to say how special you are for wishing us all a blessed fun Sunday when you yourself had to work. No fun, huh? Have a wonderful week.

  18. I hated working on Sundays as well. They should be quiet peaceful days for introspection.

I love love reading all your comments!! They mean so much to me...thank you..Pamela xo
