That's it i said...I want some ruffles too! But make mine PINK and in silk...I'm in that princess mood today!
So here

alot.
I just can't
decide
where
to
keep it.
Now all i need is a pretty ruffle bedspread...or maybe a ruffle table clothyes that's what i'm looking for
a ruffle
tablecloth!

ReplyDeleteI love your "ruffled" and oh-so-sweet pillow. I adore silk...there is nothing like it in the world, is there? Silk always feels "princess-y" to me. I had a set of silk sheets that I bought at an estate sale about 30 years ago (yes I was into that stuff way back then) and I used them until they just wore to shreds...I zig-zagged them until there were more threads than sheets and finally, blissfully let them go to rest. They has a soft, soft floral design on them.
ReplyDeleteWhen I bought my last sewing machine I made sure it had a "ruffler" stitch on it. I was making heavily ruffled curtains back in the 80's when "country" was the big thing. I was making them for the neighbors too because they were so expensive to order them. So...for 4 houses in a row...we all had beautiful ruffled curtains. And, now...if I go thrift store shopping I see them there. lol
