On our property sits a little studio. It has many windows, skylights and two doors.
One door on the side and a dutch door onto the main road. Every morning i look out my window to the little studio. While i drink my coffee i ponder
and dream about all the endless possibilities that can be done with this studio.
So far i have hung lace curtains in the window!
Hi Pamela,
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous studio!!! I would never want to leave. I can't wait to see it once it's finished, I'm sure you'll have it looking spectacular!
Have a great week.
Sincerely,
Melinda

Part of the fun is the dreaming aspect, isn't it? Wondering exactly what you will do with it...how it will turn out...if it will be exactly as you envisioned it or it morphs into something entirely different. I can't wait to see your dream become reality. ...ps...SO glad I found your blog- Diana
ReplyDeleteLook at that wonderful building. It could just be your place to escape. Fill it with things you love.
ReplyDeleteOh my! What possibilities!! A studio, an antique market, a guest cottage, a tea house. It could so easily be any of those things! What a diamond in the rough!
ReplyDeleteIt would be so much fun to decorate it- it has a lot of charm!
ReplyDeleteWhat a treasure!! I am in love with that sweet studio. Yes, the possibilities are indeed endless.

Oh Pamela, I just love it, it's adorable!! I have a little building on our property that I used to use as my studio until I had to find a larger space! I plan on one day turning it into a show place with all my treasures I've been saving to put in it. I already know exactly how I will decorate it! I can see French furnishing, all painted creamy white, (shabby chic) of course, animal print rugs, Beautiful antique chandelier, oh I could go on and on!!! Blessings~~~ Daphne
ReplyDeleteDear friend.....I've told you before, and I will say it again....you have the greatest house and property. I would kill to have a detached studio in my yard. (O:(O:
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!

The lace curtains are a wonderful start. That little spot is adorable. Make it your own!

That's it. I'm moving in. How fortunate you are to have that sweet little space. I'm already thinking of the possiblities for you! We almost bought a home with a little studio on the property and to this day, I still weep because we passed it up (the home needed SO much work)... doesn't help that I drive by it every day!
ReplyDeleteYou have such a beautiful retreat to call home.
Jami
I love your little cottage/shed/studio. Do you have wonderful plans for it? Can't wait to see you wave you magic wand over it.
ReplyDeleteYou made a comment that I am curious about. You said that it is not your home. Does that mean you are renting or that it is not the one you want to stay in for the rest of your life? I think you are doing an amazing job with it right now, if this is just practice wow, watch out the next one is going to be a show stopper.
Oh I love that little cottage, it's awesome!! I know what I would do with it..... That's where I would create... You know "Man Cave", that would be my "Woman Cave"!! :) Can't wait to see what you do with it..
ReplyDeleteCheryl~
It's lovely!!! Wow!!!
ReplyDeleteThat lovely little outbuilding has a world of potential. I can't wait to see what you decide to do with it! When you get a chance, please drop by and see me. I have a little something for you:)
