Old Linens and Laundry

Welcome to my laundry room!

This is one of my favourite rooms

in the home.

I am loving my new front load washer and dryer...

They seem to make doing laundry

even more enjoyable! You will find all my old linens hanging around here...

A basket with my old linen towels

This linen towel is especially meaningful to me

my aunt hand made it on the

loom when she lived in

Italy as a young girl.

She learned all kinds of things

from the nuns.

I love the tassels on this old piece.


My laundry room has an old fashioned

drying rack

here i have hung more

of my antique

linens.

This is a very old Javex bleach bottle.

If you look

closely

you can see the

writing.

This old enamel pail holds all

my clothes pins...

There you have it...my laundry room or i should

say multi-purpose room . We also

feed the cats and have their litter box

here....but i really

don't think

you would

be

interested in that

aspect of the room !
