Hello everyone!
There is always some kind of rearranging going on in
this home. It is such a fun house to
live in that i just can't help myself
to constantly change this around.
Remember my cabinet that i painted white? I decided
to make some changes to the inside. Here is what i did inside...

My son who seems to be
the expert on just about everything lately
told me it is a
bat star fish.
I purchased it from my
favourite antique barn
back home.
antique buttons
which
i
just
love!
I love that starfish! I've never seen one like it. Wonder where I'd find one like that? I still am in love with that kitchen.

Love that cabinet and how you displayed it with vintage items. I love that big starfish. It adds such great texture.
ReplyDeleteI soooo love that starfish.....and to have a skeleton is just fantastic.
ReplyDeleteWhen we were up in the San Juan's years ago, we visited the Oceanography Inst. I got to hold a starfish....only it was a "slime" starfish...can you imagine!!! YUCK....but it was an experience. It is great that you son knows such things he certainly lives in the right environment to learn about the ocean.
Hugs,
Jo
Pamela...I love what you did with the cabinet. I have a jar full of antique buttons too...belonged to my Grandmother. I love the basket of magazines on the kitchen...it looks fab! Angie xo
ReplyDeleteYou corner cabinet looks great. That kitchen, I love it to. The beach I went to was Long beach just past Port Colborne. It is so nice that we can come every day if we wanted. Funny I have never been to the beach on our side of Lake Erie.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks beautiful! I love the peek into your beautiful red kitchen...my favorite...and your cabinet is perfect! Love the buttons and the starfish!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
Cathy
