Hello Everyone!
I wanted
to share
with all
of
you
my collection
of
Nancy Ann
As you can see i took very good care of them.
Their hair is made from mohair.
A very close friend of my families had an adult daughter who
was married with no children of her own. The daughter's mom
was well aware of my love for dolls and also knew
that i took very good care of my things.
With this in mind the woman's daughter happily
passed them on to me.
Many years later i still have them
and they are in perfect condition.
Strangely, I have never heard of these dolls. I loved dolls when I was a young girl and yours are in much better shape than mine! How did you get started on your collection? Thanks for your kind comment on my blog today...someday maybe we will have tea & crumpets together in person! Angie xo
ReplyDeleteMy cousin also had several of these. I had 2 of them that were given to me by my Aunt (my cousin's Mom). I still have the one..she has a sweet little peach dress..and I'm not sure which "character" (if any) she was supposed to be. Yours are precious and in excellent shape. What a fond memory you have attached to them.
ReplyDeleteWere you serious about your son that dolls freak him out? My son was that way with clowns...I think he still is although he would never admit it now~;>) Diana
you never cease to amaze me. I love dolls and yours are precious!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of these dolls before, but they are sweet, and how wonderful that you still have them. What a treasure!
ReplyDeleteThey are darling, I love their sweet little bow lips. :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Tuesday!
Anne
