a new job. I can say i am so tired right now and my brain is on complete overload. I have
not had a job outside of the home for 12years! I am behind on my posts and visiting all of
you. I have also started a design course and that has fallen to the wayside as i get in the
groove of working. All things will hopefully fall into place soon or maybe i will just fall
out of place instead!!
I am loving grey in the home but i am really loving it in the wardrobe!
Sharing with you my new outfit of dreamy greys...
If anyone from Denmark is reading this post i want to say to you I LOVE YOUR CLOTHES!
This outfit is made in Denmark and the quality and texture is unbelievable...
Their designs are so unique and i love visiting all their clothing blogs!
My favourite new find...grey suede sandals...yummy!!
(now i must make that long over due pedicure appointment!!)
Hope you all enjoyed this .... I hope to visit all of you soon...
but until then i am going to have a well deserved nap before my head blows
off!
Until next time ...thanks for visiting!
Pamela xo
I love that dress and sweater. Gray is one of my favorite colors. Where did you find such lusciousness? Here on the Island? Or via the Internet?
ReplyDeleteI hope you soon adapt to working - it can be exhausting until you get used to it.
Yes, please nap we don't want your head blowing off. I hope I don't have to go back to work. I have been out almost 11 years. Nice outfit, but too hot for here.
ReplyDeleteVery cute outfit Pamela...love those shoes, they are sexy yet sophisticated.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous outfit. I'm finding myself choosing gray more often than I use too. I think it's the blogs!!

I wear almost too much grey...I think of it as the new black. :o) I totally love it. Congrats on your new job. I hope things settle down and you can enjoy the rest of the summer. I'm a school secretary so I'm off for a few weeks. I am so ready!
ReplyDeletePamela, I missed seeing you here and now I know why. I hope your head doesn't blow off with all the learning you're doing! I love the new clothes and shoes. Beautiful! Take care and I hope you get more blog time soon. Blessings, Pamela
ReplyDeleteThat outfit looks sweet Pamela! I bet you rock those shoes, lately I have been wearing work boots! lol
ReplyDeleteI love the outfit! Wherever did you find the clothing? Great shoes too. I like grey - it is a calm color.
ReplyDeleteTake care!

Yes, I like grey a lot too, Pam. There's something really luxurious about it. Fun outfit and fun shoes as well. Hope your new job is going okay!

Cute outfit. I don't think I have a single piece of grey in my wardrobe and have no idea why. Love the shoes.

I bought a bo-ho chic hippy smock looking Charcoal Gray blouse for my daughter yesterday, I love it, infact I want to wear it but it is a bit to shear for me perhaps I will barrow it on a brave girl day! :)

Cute! Such a cute outfit & accessories!
ReplyDeleteOh Pamela, I feel for you. It is so hard to work and keep up everything else at the same time. You will have to email me and let me know where you are working and what you are doing.
ReplyDeleteI love your greys, I have never seen clothes from Denmark, did you buy those on-line somewhere? And yes!!! I am loving the greys this season, too. I have some really nice grey fabric that I am trying to decide what to make with it, probably a flowy dress of some sort.
Hope you had a good nap, have a lovely day tomorrow and don't work TOO hard,
Love and hugs, Cindy
Oh Pamela what a gorgeous outfit! I just love grey too - it makes every other colour stand out, doesn't it? Hey - I mentioned your blog in my French Country style post too today... there's just so much here I just had to share! Oh and good luck with your new job!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit. I see we have the same taste in clothes as well! Good luck with your new job and holding it all together! Don't feel pressurised by the blogging bit. We understand if you can't visit as often. If it becomes a chore it isn't fun anymore and that's not the point!! Have a good week. x Sharon
ReplyDeleteLove, love the outfit and shoes! I didn't know you took on a job too! It's so hard to find time to blog when you work. I'm at a point of taking a break too. We'll all catch up some day but if we don't, we can just pick up where we left off!
ReplyDeleteTake care!
Love that outfit, and I bet it looks lovely with your dark hair.
ReplyDeleteOo I want those shoes though!
Hope you get some rest. :-)
Oh, gorgeous! Love the understated feminine touch and the beautiful fabric. And yes, love gray!!
ReplyDeleteTake a nap. Things always are less stressful afer a nap. And what's there to worry about when you have such cute clothes!
ReplyDeleteYvonne
Pamela...I love the clothing! Do you visit Sophie's Haus? She seems to be involved with Scandinavian clothing designs...I have followed some of her leads on line to a shop near Gastown in Vancouver. I just love the "international flavor"! You have exquisite taste! One has to be forgiving and accept a kindered spirit with blogging...just like a good old friend...life leads them in another direction...but when your together it's fun and like you haven't been apart! Congratulations on your new job! I think last week's Wednesday's Wrap could have also been dedicated to you!

Congrats on the new job, although it seems to be quite an adjustment for you. I think I'd be the same way - it's been 6 years since I worked outside the home.
ReplyDeleteAwesome outfit and swanky sandals!
- Susan
Grey is truly a classic isn't it? I know you will get into the swing of things with your new job and pick up with your design course ~ fun!!
ReplyDeleteSo I hope you are having some sweet dreams right now Pamela and getting caught up with your snoozing!
xo Catherine
Hi Pamela,
ReplyDeleteWow, sounds like you need a well deserved nap! Hope things are going well at your new job. I can see why you are exhausted! Your new outfit is gorgeous! I wish I had your fashion sense. **sigh** I am afraid that I am fashion challenged, always have been!!
Oh bon chance with your new job. If you wear that dreamy outfit you are sure to get a raise! :)

Hi Pamela, Congrats on the new job! We have finally made it to Okotoks, and I have to say, that while my heart will always be on the Island, it is gorgeous here. We love it! If your family ever make your way out here, don't hesitate! It is a great family town! Take care! ps this is Andrea. I've had trouble with blogger and commenting for weeks now!
ReplyDeleteHello ! Thank you for your sweet comment on my Dear Diary blog !
ReplyDeleteI do not envy you getting back into the frame of mind for being at work every day. I am afraid I have always been a lazy person and now I am only worse. I do like the shopping money that comes along with working though :)
I love the outfits, they remind me a little of a favorite shop of mine in the US ( and elsewhere) .. Babette ..
Hi sweet Pamela....don't work to hard. Love that outfit.

Hello Pamela, Congrats on the job! I haven't worked outside the home in 15 years, so I can relate! Good luck! The clothes are beautiful! When I was younger, I hated grey...now I love it! It's so soothing...lovely. Take Care...
ReplyDeleteWhy is it American clothing is so poorly made - perhaps because it's not made in America any longer! I'm always astounded by the quality of Scandinavian and German-made clothes, the workmanship is excellent and often the fabrics are Italian - what more could one desire!
ReplyDeleteLove grey anything - paint, metal furniture, pewter jewelry, soft grey T-shirts, Converse One Star laceless sneakers, my sheer cardigans, grey linen jeans (from England), and Summer weight scarves. I too have given up black lately - my wardrobe is a sea of greys and French grey-blues................and I want your gorgeous suede sandals, pretty please!
Good luck in the job - hope you share more about it, and that it's creative like you Pamela.
Hugs - Mary
P.S. Where do you find Danish clothes BTW? Please share.
Hi Pamela, Congrats on your new job, but sorry that your so tired... hope you get some rest! I'm loving the gray these days too, in decor and apparel. I do still love the whites and creams but have added the gray to my list also. I'm trying to add more clothing to my website, "if I can find the time" and they will be whites, pinks and gray's.... can't wait to get them up!
ReplyDeletehugs~~~ Daphne
Such a gorgeous outfit, Pamela! I love gray...it's pretty much all I wear (and b&W). Beautiful! The shoes are great too. Where are you working now? I am so awfully behind. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteI hope this new job didn't burn you out.
