This morning when i awoke this is what i saw from my sleeping porch... A lovely burst of pink blossoms!! It's warming up too. Spring is here and time to lighten up the bedding. It also means putting away the heavy robe and bringing out my cotton ruffled one... My grandmother's pillow cases come out from the cedar chest to be switched with the heavy winter pillows... Away goes the heavy comforter for the light pink and white quilt... Happy Spring Everyone!!
Pamela xo
So delicate and charming! very pretty post Pamela! xoox, Tracie

Holy doodles Pamela! What other bedding do you have hidden away? It is so yummy. I have never in my lame old life changed bedding according to the season. Maybe I should start. Although I am not shedding my cozey robe or my wool blankets yet.
ReplyDeleteSpring has arrived at your house. I love it!
ReplyDeleteThe textures! The colors! Oh! It is too lovely!
ReplyDeleteThe chest is so beautiful, I am so glad you kept it. The etchings upon it are ethereal!

Hi Pamela,
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky to be seeing blossoms already, are those lilac blossoms? Oh, I love the smell of those.
Your bedroom looks so pretty with all of the pink and I especially love your robe. I think I should make one like that, I love ruffles, as you have probably figured out from reading my blog.
Your old chest by your bed is lovely, I'm sure you are glad that you kept it.
Hugs, Cindy
Hey Pamela...don't you just love old linens? I have some that were my grandmother's and also some I have picked up here and there. Love your pink and I'm so glad you didn't get rid of your chest. I think we all need a "think about" room so we can stash stuff and think about whether or not we want to keep it. Sometimes just a little time is all you need to realize something has value and is worth keeping. Have a great day...~Ann
ReplyDeleteAh the joys of spring, ENJOY Pamela
