Hello Everyone!!
I have that paint brush fever...nothing seems to be safe in my home lately!
I decided my old china cabinet was in need of some wowing!!
So I painted her up a beautiful French blue... My Mason's Pink Vista china really stands out now!!
That looks so pretty against the wall colour. Good idea! Pamela

ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Pam...and wait til I tell you my story! We have 10 foot ceilings and we renovated a 3600 square foot home and after it was ALL painted and all the trim was up, I changed my mind!!! And my husband repainted the entire thing!!! (And we're still married...lol!)

ReplyDeleteGreat shade of blue. It looks great nd the china looks great in there. The little horse too!
ReplyDeleteI love that colour blue, and I think it looks great with your wall colour!
ReplyDeleteI knew it, pretty soon your husband is going to give you that look that mine does when he sees the paint brush in your hand. Have fun painting!
ReplyDeletePamela I am so loving your blue hutch!! It is awesome!! I think the wall color is just as great!! Very cheerful!
ReplyDeleteI definitely like the cabinet painted. It's a gorgeous piece of furniture. The china looks great in it.
ReplyDeleteThe chairs are much improved and so is your china cabinet. You're right, your china looks terific in it. I think my china cabinet is a sister to yours! I traded Vintage Gal for it, then painted it white.
ReplyDeleteHi Pamela! Oh, I love it! What a beautiful color and I just adore your pretty Duncan Phyfe cabinet! Your china is so lovely! Yep, those feathers are the bomb! :)
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
It looks waaaay better this way..what a tedious job you have done lately. Is your wrist sore yet?
ReplyDeletedon't worry about the walls, it is the cabinet we are looking at!
And it turned out wonderful!
I love the soft blue color you chose. That gorgeous cabinet would look fabulous against pale gray walls. but the peacock feathers do look good with the wall color as it is. Decisions! Love your pretty china!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane

Pamela, this cabinet looks wonderful in its new color. If you can get Benjamin Moore paint it won't take as much as you think for the walls. We did our two story great room, foyer, two story stair well, upstairs hall and small hall with l 1/2 gallons. Not kidding! Husband did the high part and I did the rest. Thanks for joining WUW!
ReplyDeleteOh so pretty! What a pretty color. Your china really does pop now! And I know all about paint brush fever!
ReplyDeleteYour cabinet turned out beautifully, Pamela, and I like the wall color, gives the room an unexpected modern twist!
ReplyDeleteTruly spectacular. You really have a good eye for improving design.

Have you ever tried adding patina with aluminum foil? It is so simple and the result is awesome! PLUS you can re-use the aluminum foil from your leftovers instead of throwing it away!
