What girl doesn't love shoes??
I love shoes..
I
heart
shoes
.I could spend all day in shoe stores..
One rule of thumb when shopping or just gazing in shoe stores...
Do not bring your
husband and son. They don't get it. All your hear is?.."Are they practical"
or "Mom, how many pairs of shoes do you need?" ...
We live in an area that has the most fab shoes stores!! It is a dream come true
for me! .
Shoes for the serious shoe fetish!!
to have a pair of rain boots...but not any rain boots...
Love these.. I won't even tell you the price...
"Are they practical?" ...he says to me as it is down pouring outside the store
and he even had to run back to the truck to get my umbrella!!!
Next time I head to the city I'll be leaving them both behind
or maybe I will just drop them off at Future Shop...and they can
find something that's practical!
Sending heartfelt prayers to Japan...thank God here on Vancouver Island we
were untouched even though we had strong alert warnings all morning.
Pamela xo
Pamela, glad you're ok!! Quite the morning, wasn't it. Now, back to shoes... love those gray boots, the lace up boots, well shoot, all of them! I've been living for the last two years in a comfy pair of what look like dainty combat boots...even the old ladies at the garden club like 'em!
ReplyDeleteI heart shoes too Pamela! In fact I could have my own closet just for shoes. These are some great looking boots. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh, Pamela...I am so glad that you were unaffected by the tsunami. I don't think I could live near a coast without constantly fearing one. Glad you are safe and many prayers going out to Japan and it's people.
ReplyDeleteI have such a love for shoes and I constantly hear "But you have a ton already". So what...you only live once! And we have four distinct seasons here so I need plenty!! lol!
Have a great weekend, my friend!
XO,
Jane
I'm with you on those rain boots! Gorgeous! So glad you guys are safe. I forgot how close you are to Japan! What a tragedy. x
ReplyDeleteSO glad you were oke, it is a terrible tragedy, the poor people.
ReplyDeleteI ♥♥♥ shoes too!! I used to work in a shoestore, for 13 years and it was heaven ♥ LOVE the blue ones wow, they are gorgeous...I need them too lol♥
Have a good weekend
Girl, if the show fits - wear it!
ReplyDeleteYou are right, they do not get it. Oh I just adore the shoes with the bow on them. Now that I am back to work it gives me an excuse to shop. YEAH! I get to dress up and buy lots of different styles of shoes. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeletePamela, I think it's an Italian thing...My mother use to say If it's made in Italy then it's good...LOL... In fact that was about any thing... Love shoe too I'm digging the gray one with the ruffles.
ReplyDelete~~Pattie~~
Oui, I"m a shoe girl myself but don't wear the really high ones anymore. Le sigh!

Oh- I love those rain boots..AND the ruffled shoes. Don't you love them? I am so glad that you are unaffected by the storm...scary stuff that-and the devastation in Japan is heart-wrenching. Hope your weekend is a good one- xxoo Diana
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE shoes too! The black shoes are amazing! You are a lucky girl to be so close to such great shoe shopping.
ReplyDelete-emily
yeah...what girl doesn't love shoes?
ReplyDeleteI love those boots and the ruffled shoes. I have a hard time finding shoes that fit, so shoe shopping is always frustrating for me.I still like looking at pretty shoes though.
ReplyDeleteNot a day goes by that we are not reminded of the magnitude of each of ours vulnerability.
ReplyDeleteThank fully Van Is was spared.
But as many bloggers have pointed out we are not prepared...but if you had those boots you would be part way there!
Who here on the west coast does not NEED a pair of wellies...the guys just don't get it sometimes!
We are having a great wet weekend but I won't complain...
Oh my all those grey shoes were divine. Did you buy any of them. Please show us.
ReplyDeleteHello Pamela,
ReplyDeleteI am trying to curb my shoes addiction. I recently bought two pairs of shoes but I am going to return on pair.

Hi Pamela, so glad that you're ok.... it's so awful what happened in Japan! Love the shoes you have shown today, their gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs~~~ Daphne
I have always loved shoes. When I was a little girl, whenever my Mom bought me a new pair of shoes I would get so excited I could not stop looking at them. I would take a mirror and set it up on the floor so that I could admire the new shoes on my feet. I would do this late at night in my room when I was supposed to be asleep. I have never outgrown my obsession. What's a girl supposed to do?
ReplyDeleteLove,
Susan and Bentley
xxoo
Hey Pamela!
ReplyDeleteHahaha you remind me of my Mom with the shoe thing ^.^ She always had more shoes than the entire family put together, and always found a reason for another pair, and of course... no one could touch them (they were always for something specific)
Thank God taht it didnt reach you guys! Im glad, but it is so sad to see all those poor people (with more stuff coming around and now the nuclear plant blowing) ahhhh lets hope its all good.
Keep safe,
Pamela, I adore those blue shoes!! I have lived by the mantra "It doesn't matter how much your shoes hurt..as long as they look good!!"
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your next shopping day - without your men!!
Suzyq
HI Pam ....Thanks for dropping by!...I was so excited about winning but nervous cuz until today I had not done any cross blog copy & paste!...Hope I did it right!
ReplyDeleteoh i love shoes too. to much i think :o(
ReplyDeleteheartbreaking stuff over in japan. you are right, one can only pray.
have a wonderful day
I'm embarrassed as a woman to say that I can pass up a pair of shoes ~ but keep me away from purses!!! My closet is over-flowing! :)
ReplyDeleteEither way you are right, husbands and sons need to stay at home when a gal is looking at shoes and purses! ;)
xo Catherine
Ooooh yes....I'm salivating now. Thanks, Pamela. LOL. I especially love the gray-ruffled lovelies...yummy. Funny: I'm watching the news as I type, and there's a story on how women have an average of 17 pairs of shoes and only wear 3 on a regular basis. I'm like, HUH? Oooh noooo! We're talking 50 pairs here and I wear a lot of them a lot of the time. Love them!
ReplyDeleteThe news story was a break from the Japan story...what a stark contrast. Glad you are okay out there in Vancouver.
The shoes in your pictures are so pretty. I like and want them all.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right about not taking the boys shoe shopping. My oldest son has a girl friend and gets it somewhat but my husband and other boys have no patience for it.
Great Information sharing .. I am very happy to read this article .. thanks for giving us go through info.Fantastic nice. I appreciate this post. Scarpe Running pronatori
