Around the bedroom

Happy Monday everyone! It has been a very horrific few days for Japan and
hopefully like me you are all sending prayers and loving thoughts.
It does seem trivia to be posting about a bedroom but I always believe the best
we can do is to send positive , happy and loving thoughts.

The town North of us had to close down their school and stay on high alert.
A town my husband grew up fishing in. Scary to think we are not immune to
nature's wrath.

I really do believe in the power of prayer and everyday I have
prayed for the people of Japan...

We still have to carry on with our lives but we keep the people of Japan
in our hearts.
We must still love and laugh and enjoy things that make our heart's sing...

The house in the rose is having a link party today...SHOW OFF YOUR COTTAGE MONDAY
I'm taking my little blog over there so please join me in the fun!

Until next time...Sending prayers and much love to Japan

  4. I love your room, Pamela. Love the rose color in it... It is lovely and sweet. I, too, have had Japan on my heart and in my prayers...we are always at nature's wrath and should not forget all the lives and souls that have been lost or broken. Hugs-Diana

  11. My daughter had to stay home from school on Friday due to the tsunami warning. Even though I knew about the earthquake and tsunami, I was still surprised when the school called to say they needed to close! To think, that earthquake could have just as easily happened here. Makes me hug my family a little tighter each night.

  12. Your bedroom is so romantic and pretty. Love the rose colored accents. I was worried about you until I realized that the tsunami wasn't hitting the coast as hard as they originally predicted. Glad you stayed safe.

  13. The devastation is unthinkable.
I have been glued to the TV.

The wind woke me up last night, and it scared the crap out of me. I cannot even fathom the panic, and the fury of that ocean.
The rooms are beautiful and I will check out your Mac and Cheese.

  14. Your bedroom is lovely!!! I love to see a sweet old house decorated in keeping with it's great heritage. As I have commented before, an old house is a precious and rare commodity in BC.
I read through other posts that I have missed and you have such a nice blog. I will put you on my side bar, then I won't miss so many posts.
    Hugs, Cindy

  15. Beautiful photos! My favorite is the pink ruffly pillow! Yum.
I have thought about the devastation and what I could say. I didn't want to seem nonchalant so I just decided to not say anything at all. You have stated it so well. I, too, believe in the power of prayer and that's what I've been doing.
    Blessings to all,
    Tammy
